Champagne symbolises celebration in the minds of most people and this September, to celebrate the overlapping of two of London’s biggest cultural events: London Fashion Week and the London Design Festival, Champagne brand Perrier Jouet commissioned a conceptual nature lounge as a haven for guests. Bacchus kicked off the PR campaign for L’Eden by Perrier Jouet with a party hosted by supermodel Naomi Campbell. With Naomi and DJ Fat Tony taking turns on the decks, the celebrity-packed event featured in the nationals and diary pages and started a week of parties, dinners and events for key names from both spheres of design.
The venue, two storeys of a Soho gallery, housed a lounge floor and a Champagne cellar for private dining. The ground floor became a botanical-inspired lounge furnished by Parisian designer Noe Duchaufour-Lawrance. His motif, a 3D printed, suspended foliage installation paid homage to the Emile Galle, Belle Epoque design of the Perrier Jouet bottle. Each hanging branch culminated in a champagne glass.
