Rarely does West London benefit from a stylish new hotel opening so when Tracy Lowy asked Bacchus to launch The Laslett in our very own neighbourhood, we jumped at the opportunity.
The Laslett, a hotel by Living Rooms – the hotel alternative – opened its doors in Notting Hill in July 2015. In a neighbourhood as storied as W11, this newcomer has its own Notting Hill tale to tell. Taking its name from well-loved local Rhaune Laslett – a community activist and organiser of the original Notting Hill Festival, which went on to become the Carnival – taking inspiration from the area’s vibrant cultural heritage whilst also capturing its new wave of creative cool.
Bacchus capitalised on the surge of W11 openings for features on the comeback of Notting Hill, highlighting this stylish British hotel as the final piece in the puzzle in the resurgence of West London.
