Director of Bacchus Studio, Charlotte Lurot, was invited by Nicholas Coleridge and HRH The Prince of Wales, to art direct and curate an exhibition entitled Wool Modern to showcase the use of wool in the modern and contemporary creative industries.

Drawing on her contacts in fashion, product design, interior design and fine art – and bringing together a mixture of archive pieces and original commissions – Charlotte secured exhibits from over 100 global designers and brands, including Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, Rick Owens, Maison Martin Margiela, Erdem, Bethany Fancher and a priceless 1970s haute couture wedding dress made entirely of wool by Yves Saint Laurent, graciously loaned by the Pierre Bergé/ YSL Foundation.

The exhibition was opened by HRH The Prince of Wales, Colin Firth and Mario Testino in London – and then travelled to Berlin, Sydney, Shanghai and Seoul.
